In result of which the crime of cattle theft is become a minor crime in District Bhakkar .The District Police,Bhakkar has recovered many stolen cattle in recent crackdowns. The key measures of the recovery strategy are as under:
- Strict actions taken against rassagirs (Patrons)

Vehicle theft has been the main crime of the district Bhakkar.Department of Police District Bhakkar has established and made functional SWAS (smart verification alert system) to stop and apprehend the crminals involved in Vehicle theft activities.Special teams like Crime Cell , Muhafiz Squad have been deployed to arrest the criminals of Vehicle theft specially motor bike and cars. . These teams are working to detect and impound the stolen/ tampered vehicles in District BHAKKAR. In recent search operations, these teams have detected and recovered various stolen vehicles. These Teams have recoverd many stolen vehicles the criminals arrested has confessed of lifting the motor cycles from many Districts of punjab like Layyah , Muzzafargarh, Multan, DG Khan , Jhang , Mianawali.Later On these Motorcycles and cares are handed Over to the Original Owners in joint press Conference at DPO Office Bhakkar.
