Reforming, restructuring and rebuilding police and other law enforcement institutions in post-conflict and fragile states goes to the core of United Nations policing, which is why the development of Guidelines on Police Capacity-Building and Development was a top priority for the Police Division. In modern world, peace, security and the sense of security are the components to measure the scale of prosperity with in any nation. In order to make the environment of the city safer, Bhakkar Police Department has taken the initiative to set up Model Police Station Sadar Bhakkar to change the typical police culture. This police station will be a model to its performance and shall play an active role to redress the grievances of the people. The building for this police station has been designed especially in which substantial arrangements have been made for the process of investigation and police operations. The environment of police station will be improved through this Model Police Station and there will also be a considerable change in the professional performance of police which will in establishing a safe and peaceful society especially District Bhakkar.
